Update: reactie van de eigenaar bevestigd de gastvrijheid hier haha paar meter verderop hebben ze ook heerlijk ijs dus kan iedereen aanbevelen even door te lopen :D tenzij je natuurlijk een mega grote schaal ijs wilt kopen voor jezelf en je kids, helaas blijft de bediening dan nog altijd dezelfde onvriendelijk man.. Kortom alles voor het geld hier want soms wil je gewoon een ijshoorntje met 1 of 2 bollen en geen jaren 80 ijscoupe.. Foto's zijn overigens accuraat er is laatste 40 jaar niets veranderd idd. Het bord is ook echt geschreven in 3 talen die ik begrijp, moet je die alleen wel toevallig lezen.. O en eerlijk is eerlijk: de jonge man achter de ijsbalie was overigens wél aardig en het uitzicht is mooi van het terras. Kortom wees gewaarschuwd!Traduzione
Wow, a new low here, I must say... Bought 5 ice creams and an empty terrace with a view of Meran, so just enjoying the view. Oh no, sent away because we had to order a large ice cream sundae from the menu (see beautiful photos) to be allowed to stay seated... Wow, truly the most unfriendly thing I have ever experienced, especially the way it was handled... Update: the owner's response confirms the lack of hospitality here haha, they also have delicious ice cream a few meters down the road, so I can recommend everyone walk a little further :D unless, of course, you want to buy a mega-sized bowl of ice cream for yourself and your kids; unfortunately, the service remains the same unfriendly man then... In short, it's all about the money here, because sometimes you just want an ice cream cone with 1 or 2 scoops and not an 80s sundae... The photos are accurate, by the way; nothing has changed in the last 40 years indeed. The sign is actually written in 3 languages that I understand, you just have to happen to read them... Oh, and fair is fair: the young man behind the ice cream counter was actually nice, and the view from the terrace is beautiful. In short, be warned!

We are very sorry that you are not able to read the signs at the counter that clearly state exactly that in 3 different languages. Same as in most ice cream shops here. Our waiter was definitely not unfriendly and informed you politely about it. Shame on you and your reviews.
